The Best Video Delivery Platforms | Rob Adams

WedFlow

The real difference between the two services is what happens after you deliver your videos. With WedFlow the videos you upload are available for 10 years even if you decide to unsubscribe from the service. This is because you pay per video collection. You get 1GB free for either a single or multiple video collection, but you can add on data in packs of 5GB with small discounts for larger amounts. With MediaZilla, only clients who “take possession” of their video collection get to keep access to their hosted content after you allow your monthly/ yearly subscription to expire. So you’ll have to decide what’s the right avenue for you. I think 10 years of hosting included with a single price is a great deal. Each of my WedFlow collections costs less than $15 and with 25 weddings a year (my max quota) I don’t come near what a yearly pro subscription to MediaZilla would cost. Now WedFlow is allowing temporary access to some of its premium features such as menu video backgrounds and adding music to a collection. This will cost more in the near future. MediaZilla includes music (no video backgrounds yet) but limits total data upload amounts to 600GB annually in their pro membership at $41/ month. There are also more expensive plans that increase the data cap. It’s worth mentioning that WedFlow, like MediaZilla, offers bulk email delivery, password protection and embed code sharing, although WedFlow’s mobile optimization is much better in my opinion. Another great shared feature on both platforms is the ability to view stats about the number of views and whether a collection and its videos have been accessed by the recipient.
