10. MOVE YOUR FOCUS POINT TO THE EYES

When I am photographing someone, I want the eyes to be the focal point of my portraits. So as I am shooting, I move the focus point to the subject’s eyes to get them tack sharp. If you are shooting with the new mirrorless cameras, such as the Nikon Z 7 II (my current fave), you can rely on the eye-autofocus which does it for you.
