If you are an existing senior photographer, you know the importance of having senior reps in the schools helping to promote your studio. I know what you might be thinking: "With kids not in school, will a rep program work?" I say yes! Will it need to be altered? Of course. This is where you will run circles around your competitors. I know that’s my goal and plan. We are starting our rep program as I write this for you. My goal is to have my reps ready and shot by late February. Their goals? Refer 6-7 seniors for photoshoots. My goal? Get 3-5 reps in each school. I can’t flush out the entire senior rep program here, but I have done full in-depth videos on it here: www.levelupsal.com How will they succeed without being in school? Social media to the rescue. These kids are still in touch with their friends online. They are in groups, they are on social media. So, instead of producing physical products and flyers for them to hand out in school, we will be producing digital assets for them to use to promote it to their social networks. Not only does this save us money in printing costs, but it’s a sign of the times. Will it work? I’m hopeful, but I'll let you know how it goes. Here is what I do know. We are all human. We all want a sense of normalcy in our lives. And I’m betting on that human nature. I’m betting seniors and their families still want to celebrate this moment in their lives.
