Show It To Sell It: How to Shoot to Sell Large Wall Prints | Lisa Jones
After all the planning comes the session. I am a firm believer that there is an art to lighting, posing, composition and color theory. It is the marriage of all these mixed with beautiful expressions frommy seniors that work together to create portraits and works of art the parents want to show off in their home! I know going into the session that I need killer portraits for the wall, along with a good variety for the album. I ask my seniors to bring more wardrobe options than they need so that we have plenty of choices. When needed, I also pull from my extensive wardrobe room so that I am always ensured to get at least one wardrobe look in-studio that fits my branding aesthetic. The best part is that these are the photos that the client almost always chooses as their wall portrait!
